Kids Bag - Food Security

The Pioneer FSC and our parent organization,
EmPoWER Somerset joined the Summer of 2020, the
Greater Somerset County YMCA Food Security Project.

They provided boxes of food to families in need.
The generous boxes were filled with staple food items for the week.

We thought it will be nice for families with kids to also receive some treats!
We assembled and delivered to the Somerville YMCA fun bags with
treats for kids to enjoy this Summer.

Every family with kids received a kid bag enough for 4 children per bag.
The bags were provided by us and most items were donated by
the community, we supplemented when needed.
